KEENAN appoint new regional area sales manager for the midland’s and north Leinster

KEENAN expands Irish sales team

[BORRIS, Ireland] – Irish based machine manufacturing company, KEENAN, is delighted to announce the appointment of Cillian Cahill to the role of regional area sales manager for the midlands and north Leinster. Hailing from this part of Ireland, Cahill brings with him extensive knowledge on the different farm operations as well as his experience in the agricultural machinery industry.

James Brough, UK and Ireland general manager for KEENAN, said, “With Cillian’s thorough understanding of farming systems in Ireland, we hope to work with a lot more farmers to achieve greater results on farm in this region.”

Prior to joining KEENAN, Cahill worked as a sales executive for Lyons and Bruton, selling New Holland tractors in Northern Ireland and north Leinster. Despite not growing up on a farm, Cahill has a strong passion for farming having worked on his uncle’s dairy and beef farm in Cavan for several years.

A keen advocate for agriculture, Cahill is an active member of the Agricultural Science Association (ASA) and has a   bachelor’s degree in agricultural science, specialising in animal and crop production from University College Dublin.

As KEENAN regional area sales manager for the midlands and north Leinster, Cahill will be advising farmers on KEENAN’s complete range of diet feeders and feeding technologies. This will include the range of MechFiber-producing horizontal paddle diet feeders in both trailed and self-propelled options, as well as twin and triple auger vertical trailed units, all of which can be fitted with the latest InTouch technology.

“I look forward to working with farmers to help them improve feed efficiencies, control costs and ultimately help them maximise their profitability”, commented Cahill.

Cillian will be covering counties Meath, Cavan, Dublin and Louth, and can be contacted on 087 823 0128 or at
