6 angled paddles give end to end mixing, ensuring a constant tumbling action – mixes small loads accurately.
Evenly spaced to reduce peaks in power requirements and aid an even feed-out.
Fixed clearance widths between paddles and blades ensure material is chopped to optimum lengths.

Two Chamber System

Unique two chamber design with a Variable Feed Control (VFC) door that separates chambers during mixing.
Sealed mixing chambers allow for addition of liquids to regulate ration dry matter.
Full length auger in feed-out chamber ensures a consistent rate of discharge during emptying.
High feed-out auger allows for feeding over barriers.
Low feed-out auger allows for a faster discharge of material towards end of emptying.

Simple design with two chains and externally mounted bearings.
No gearbox required due to low power requirement of machine.
Low power requirement and low tractor running speed means low fuel usage (up to 50% lower).

In keeping with Keenan’s low energy approach to maintaining vital forage structure, BaleBlend® effortlessly incorporates big round and square bales (silage, hay or straw) into the Mech-fiber® mix without damaging the core fibre or over-processing dry material.

The new precision engineered dropped tines allow more movement to the bale enabling the paddle to catch the bale earlier in their rotation. The dropped tines allow forages to be distributed in measured quantities on to the top knife where it is drawn down on to the feeder’s mixing chamber.

From there, the castellated paddles and carbon steel knives process the forage into exactly the right Mech-fiber® base along with the other feed materials. All ECO range feeders can be supplied with the new BaleBlend® technology.
